MIRACULOUS ESCAPE FROM DEATH.
John NOTTINGER of Decatur, Ill., Becomes an Edenless
Adam.
Decatur, Ill., Dec. 20 - Special
Telegram - John NOTTINGER, had a miraculous
escape from death this afternoon at the Norman laundry.
He was leaning over a steam shaft, which was making 300
revolutions a minute. NOTTINGER's vest
caught in a set screw and all his clothing was stripped
from his body, leaving nothing but the collar band of
the shirt. NOTTINGER was but slightly hurt. |
