 RECORDS

Mt. Zion Cemetery is located directly behind the Presbyterian church
in Mt. Zion, Macon Co., Illinois.  Many of the people interred in this
cemetery were members of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church
which was organized on April 24, 1830.  The church is recognized as
the first church in Macon County.  The first burial occurred in 1830.
