Boy Drownes.
LEWISTON, Me - Aug. 29. Edward Haley,
a boy seven years of age, and son of Patraick Haley, was
drowned this forenoon just below the falls on the eastern shore of
the river. He was at play at the time with two other younger
boys in a boat, and after he fell into the water his companions were
to young, as well as too much frightened to attempt a rescue. |
