Good Luck and Happy Hunting
~ Sharon Wick ~

NOTE:  My own particular interest in this county is that
In 1918, my maternal Grandfather, Robert Montgomery, died from effects of the Influenza Epidemic in Kansas City, Missouri.  His body was shipped by rail to Peoria, Illinois for burial
Also... the family of my paternal grandfather, Henry (Genaro) Becerra in Kansas City, Missouri.  He was a railroad laborer who was born in Mexico

Jackson County is a county located in the western portion of the U.S. state of Missouri.  Although Independence retains its status as the original county seat, Kansas City serves as a second county seat and the center of county government. The county was organized December 15, 1826 and named for President Andrew Jackson (elected 1828).
