GENEALOGY EXPRESS

Welcome to
Black
History & Genealogy

There comes a time when I need to do what I can to help Everyone!
I have neglected to put anything on here about

Black History
I apologize!
As I don't have enough time in a day to do everything at once, I will be adding things as time allows.
After all I am trying to conquer the whole United States, and some in the way of getting as much history on the websites as possible.
If anyone of "Black" Heritage has anything to add to this website like photos, histories, even queries, please feel free to do so and I will try to get them on here asap!
~Sharon Wick
PS... if anyone has a Title that you think would be better for this area of U. S. Genealogy Express,
Please Email me HERE.  Your suggestions are greatly appreciated.

PLEASE NOTE:
You will notice that lots of these are transcribed as hit and miss but that is because I cannot possibly transcribe all of it at once.
What my method of transcription is:
I try to pick out things that would interest the reader the most and then when those parts are finished, I transcribe the rest of it as time allows.

Please Click on Hi-lited Buttons
as the other buttons are not linked yet.
Thank you, ~ Sharon

NOTED NEGRO WOMEN
THEIR TRIUMPHS AND ACTIVITIES

By Monroe Alphus Majors
"A race, no less than an nation, is prosperous in proportion to the intelligence of its women."
---
The criterion for Negro civilization is the intelligence, purity and high motives of its women.

THE HIGHEST MARK OF OUR PROSPERITY, AND THE STRONGEST PROOFS OF NEGRO CAPACITY TO MASTER THE SCIENCES AND FINE ARTS, ARE EVINCED BY THE ADVANCED POSITIONS TO WHICH NEGRO WOMEN HAVE ATTAINED.
